7 Tips To Get You Started In Couponing!

These days saving money is a desire most people try to strive for! What if I told you saving money is as easy as clipping a few coupons? Well good news, it is that easy! I eat, sleep, and breathe coupons! With that being said, I have come up with a few pointers to help get anyone started:
1. Get your hands on a Sunday newspaper! Subscribe to a local paper, purchase from your local grocery store, or even ask neighbors, friends, and family!
2. If you do not want to hassle with the Sunday newspaper, head to www.coupons.com where you can print coupons from the comfort of your own home!
3. Plan ahead! Make a weekly shopping list and match items on your list with coupons!
4. Check out grocery circulars and match up grocery deals with your coupons!
5. Stay disciplined and only purchase what is on your list and what you have a coupon for! This is one of the hardest tasks to maintain because companies advertise coupons to get people to purchase items they do not need but people purchase them anyway.
6. Did you know each month has every month has a coupon theme? For example January is all about heath. You will find tons of coupons on cold medicine, vitamins, and first aid essentials. February is the month from snack items such as chips, dips, frozen pizza, and of course stomach care items such as tums!
7. Couponing is like riding a bike. It’s a skill that takes practice and time to master! But once you get the hang of it, you’ll love it forever!
